Company Overview

WIM Resource Pty Ltd (WIM) is an Australian company that is an emerging major producer of zircon, titanium, and rare earth minerals. WIM holds an extensive resource portfolio across four different projects, comprising a cumulative resource inventory of around 1 billion tonnes of ore.

WIM’s flagship Avonbank Mineral Sands Project is at an advanced stage of development. A Definitive Feasibility Study has been completed and the proposed mining, processing and rehabilitation methods have been proven through the Avonbank Demonstration Trial.

The Avonbank project approval pathway is well advanced. In November 2024, the Environment Effects Statement (EES) was positively assessed by the Victorian Minister for Planning. WIM’s strategy is focused on developing high-quality and long-life zircon mineral sands projects in Australia, that will supply the current and emerging for critical minerals.

WIM has built a world-class resource portfolio and is well positioned to take advantage of the emerging global supply gap for Zircon. Our projects are typically shallow, with consistent ore thickness, grade and mineralogy, meaning that the project economics will be competitive on the global market.

Our mineral endowment also contains minor amounts of rare earths, which are by-products of the zircon and titanium production. These are critical minerals to facilitate the decarbonisation and electrification of the global economy.
