Longerenong Agricultural College

As part of their “Conduct a Research Trial” Unit, WIM has been a longstanding partner of Longerenong Agricultural College, offering first-year Diploma in Agriculture students the chance to conduct their research at the Avonbank Project test pit site.

The Avonbank Test Pit site is accessible to project teams so they can conduct research and studies focused on several important monitoring plots.

Every year, the teams are able to investigate and contrast the outcomes of plant growth and soil health, weed, pest, and disease impacts, soil compaction or settlement, and offer their assessments of the rehabilitation performance in respect to the particular crop sown each year.
