TOP TIER, WORLD CLASS – MOVING AHEAD
WIM has three core HMS Projects: Avonbank, Wedderburn, and Bungalally, which collectively form a global resource inventory of nearly 1 billion tonnes of ore.
Each project is well-served by local and regional infrastructure, including existing rail, power supply, surface water supply, roads, and operational bulk and containerised ports.
AVONBANK: The Avonbank Project, located near Horsham, is WIM’s flagship mineral sands development with a 36-year life and 311.8 Mt in reserves, producing zircon, titanium, and rare earth byproducts essential for electrification and everyday products. The project is well-advanced, having completed feasibility studies, trial mining, bulk product production, land rehabilitation, and environmental assessments.
WEDDERBURN: The Wedderburn HMS Project is a shallow, low strip ratio heavy mineral sands deposit in Victoria with a 2015 JORC-compliant Mineral Resource Estimate of 223Mt @ 2.9% THM, including 94Mt @ 3.1% THM and 23.5% zircon in the central block. Supported by existing infrastructure and detailed geological modeling, the project features a stacked depositional sequence and is a promising addition to WIM’s growing resource base.
BUNGALALLY: The Bungalally Project, located near Horsham, is a shallow heavy mineral sands deposit with a 2015 Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate of 205Mt @ 2.7% THM (JORC 2012, Inferred), featuring high zircon (21%) and rare earth content. Currently at the Scoping Study stage, the project benefits from proximity to key infrastructure and has undergone extensive drilling and mineralogical analysis.
